This privacy policy explains how your personal data is collected, used, and protected on this website (the "Supervisor’s Selection Portal") operated independently by Dr. Király Amin, Senior Research Fellow.

• Facilitating academic communication with prospective candidates

• Curriculum Vitae (CV)
• Academic transcripts or diplomas
• Research proposals or letters of intent
• Other academic or supporting documents relevant to your application

5. Data Hosting & Storage

- This website is hosted by Site.eu, a verified GDPR-compliant EU hosting provider.
- Submitted personal data is stored securely in a protected database managed by Site.eu.
- Uploaded documents (e.g. CVs, transcripts) are stored in a private Google Drive folder, with access restricted to the supervising academic (Dr. Király Amin) only.

6. Data Retention

Your data will be retained for a maximum of 12 months unless extended based on further communication or formal admission/scholarship processes. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 8).

7. Data Sharing

Personal data is not shared with third parties, institutions, or external organizations without your explicit consent, unless required by law.

• An immediate investigation will be conducted to determine the scope, content, and cause of the breach.
• If the breach is caused by a service provider (e.g., hosting or cloud storage), all available efforts will be made to:
  • Gather accurate information from the provider,
  • Assist in securing any remaining data, and
  • Support affected users appropriately.
• If personal data is involved:
  • Affected individuals will be notified by email within a reasonable timeframe.
  • The notification will include details of the incident, what data was affected, and any steps users should take.
• The incident, including all actions taken and communications sent, will be documented.
• If legally required, the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH) will be notified.
